It's no secret which side of the fence I'm standing on. OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA. And hey-yo BIDEN. And even thought I've always been no this side of the fence, this election is harder than ever for me to relate to the other side.
Considering the current state of everything, it scares me that there are people out there who are ready and willing to sign up for four more years of the same worse leadership. It scares me how much racism, ignorance, and foolishness is festering in this country. It scares me how many people don't know the real facts, and don't even try to find them.
John McCain's blatant lies and dishonorable attacks do matter. So do Sarah Palin's dangerous religious views, gross exaggerations, and full-out falsities. So does all the outrageous hypocrisy of the Republican party. I could go on.
Lew and Pat Politics does a great job summing it all up. I tend to piss people off by jumping around and calling names and flicking people in the ears get a little heated. But John McCain can speak for himself.
"So does all the outrageous hypocrisy of the Republican party."
Excuse me? I'll bet you don't even think the mainstream media is on Obama's side. The way the media treats McCain and Palin is disgraceful. Do you think they would give either of them a pass if they had a racist pastor for 20 years? Or told a man who can't walk to stand up for applause? Or been buddies with a domestic terrorist? Or chosen a VP who makes comments more moronic than President Bush?
The hypocrisy of the media and the liberal left is astounding. I'm not saying that everyone on the right is shiny and clean, but your comments are extreme. I'm right in the middle... and I can't stand Obama's arrogance and the passes he gets from the media. It's just plain ridiculous.
I hate politics because it is so divisive. (sp?) I have a lot of liberal friends and I love them... but when it comes to politics, all hell breaks loose.
McCain is not a monster. I'm voting for him. And Sarah Palin kicks ass.
We can make arguments all day long about her inexperience and Obama's inexperience... but it boils down to their judgment. Palin has cracked down on corruption on BOTH sides of the political fence... Obama refuses to chastise anyone in his own party. She has been consistent on the things she believes in... and Obama will tell a crowd what they want to hear. Same old thing. I'm sick of it and the excuses the left makes for him. He is not the Obamessiah. He's just a community organizer from Chicago who is a good speaker with a teleprompter in front of him. When he's on his own... he flounders.
I am not a racist because I'm not voting for him. I am smart because I'm not voting for him. It has nothing to do with race... it has everything to do with knowing how to gauge his behavior and his judgment. No one should vote for him because he's black... and no one should NOT vote for him because he's black. Race has NOTHING to do with it. Pulling out the race card is moronic.
Who do you think gets passes from the media? Palin is being treated with kid gloves and the media isn't even talking about the blatant lies that McCain has been spreading. The media might generally like Obama better, but they're letting the Republicans walk all over them.

Very nice - did you see the other McCain one where it shows how his ads have just been blatant lies attacking Obama? It's so disgraceful.
YES. Disgraceful doesn't even begin to explain it all.
