Someone (besides my mother) is reading my blog

As I might have told some people once or twice (schifty five hundred times), I'm using this thing called a blog as a way to share my thoughts/stories/ideas with the world my mom. Hi, mom.

And one friend in particular has been an incredible motivation to get out and get heard. She's plugged me in (and fostered my addiction) to social networking tools such as Twitter. She's shoved my name in front of other bloggers and social media bigwigs in Philadelphia and beyond. And she's encouraged my blogging writing blah-blahing from the moment she heard I even had a blog.

I'm honored to have Kristen Forbriger in my corner. Her faith in me as someone deserving to even have a voice (squeak) in the growing social media world has inspired me to find my true voice (and take every twist and turn necessary on the road to finding it). And I'm working on it.

Not only that, but she's a fantastic blogger with a knack for making herself heard by some of the most important social media voices in the industry (and actually having something meaningful to say). And last week she told all those (bazillion) people who read her blog about my blog blah-blahing.

The fact that Kristen considers me an Influential Blogger blows my mind (I peed my pants, just a little) and is a red flag that she needs to get out more. Well today, I'm telling the world my mom about Kristen.

There are few people I've ever come across in this (virtual and physical) world with more passion, spirit, and values than Kristen. And she shares them with us at KristenForbriger.com. Her blog is on my list for The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2008. Because Kristen's making moves, and the world is gonna hear about it.

I took her famous photo. And I think it's the photo that's really driving her on.
